An apt name

LivingChoice is the name of the operator of the retirement village at the top of our list. This is the entrance to the village. The palm trees strike a strong contrast to the trees we are used to seeing in the Southern Highlands.

The extra shows one of the houses that is available at the moment. With its lovely vaulted ceilings it is much more attractive on the inside than the outside. Before anyone moves in, the kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry will be completely gutted and refurbished. The whole house will be re-painted and the floor covering replaced. Even though we are only third on the waiting list for this one we're not sure it's quite right for us anyway. The garage is not of a generous size so we may have to hold out for a larger garage, probably a double garage. We only have one car but we need some extra storage space because the rooms in the house are smallish.
