Growing beside the railway line

Someone has planted clumps of daffodil bulbs in the waste ground beside the railway. Fortunately there is a high fence beside the track for safety reasons.

Topped up my petrol tank this morning ..... £35.77. In the past that amount would almost have filled the tank, now that amount gives me about half a tank.

After being out for coffee this morning I tackled a part of the garden where the prunings from my pear tree were lying. I don't have enough strength in my hands for all the secateur work needed so I just got two old sheets and used them to transport the largest prunings to the council tip. The smaller, thinner bits I can cut up myself and they will find themselves in the garden waste bin.
