First day of Spring.

This would have been my mum’s 116th birthday, and we always regarded it as the first day of Spring.

Today has been another beautiful day, and as the days are getting longer.
Tonight I noticed this little solar garden light was lit up for the first time this year. It is in the centre of the alpine sink garden and creates a lovely star pattern.
It also illuminates the stones which we brought back from Studland beach many years ago.

Must say we are enjoying this beautiful weather even with the frosty mornings.
