Tulips
We thought that this afternoon we would be seeing a fair bit of sunshine, but we didn't. The sun tried peeping out quite a few times but didn't like what it saw perhaps and disappeared again just as quickly. Never mind.
We were visiting Baddesley Clinton NT property over towards Solihull as we hadn't been there since before Covid. It's a moated property originally dating from late 12th to early 13th century and during the Reformation remained staunchly Catholic with several priest holes .
The gardens are coming along nicely with blossom and flowers all showing. Nice walking amongst them after going into the house and afterwards the obligatory visit to the cafe / restaurant for refreshments.
One extra is of a part of one of the widows and I thought that it might interest Miranda1008 with it's connection to where she lives, or maybe not. I'm not sure of the windows age but I believe the marriage mentioned took place in the 16th century.
Other extras are of the property itself and also one of the many camellias now in bloom in the gardens.
