VHS conversion

I managed to borrow an old VHS player, and a couple of tapes to experiment with. I've now got a new interface, but it is not working at all well - I either get no video on the computer or the video is a crop of only 1/4 of the original. The VHS plays OK when connected to a TV though. More work required!
