A Birthday Afternoon Out...!!

For my friend... I treated her to an afternoon tea out...it was really nice ...I meant to take a pic of the Tearooms but forgot...a lovely little place called Crafternoon Teas....
They are a Cafe and sell beautiful Irish crafts aswell...hence the name...
The photo of the tiny Singer Sewing Machine is would you believe a teapot....I was mesmerized but it was quite high up on the wall to take a decent photo...!
I’ve seen many ‘things’ as teapots but this has to be the best yet...!
This cafe is in the next town to me just over the County Wicklow border...we had a nice wander around afterwards and saw a few things we hadn’t noticed before...these plaques are on the wall of St. Mary’s the local Church Of Ireland Church...neither of us knew that the ballet dancer was Irish let alone from Blessington...!! So that was something new we learned..!
And apparently this is one of the oldest working clock towers in the country...!!
So we had a lovely afternoon out and came home with our ‘doggy bags’ as we were unable to eat everything in the one go..and now have some treats for tomorrow..!
Another lovely sunny day...we are being spoiled...be tough to go back to the rain..:)))
