Look into my eyes...

Lola has been spoiled today spot the difference from any other day as today she had her annual MOT at the Vet and bloods taken for her titre test.

The receptionist at the Vet made a huge fuss of her, giving her treats and cuddles all the while exclaiming "she's so beautiful!"  Lola of course didn't object to any of it.  

She is a bit jumpy when she's at the vet (since she was spayed) so it took David holding her body, and the vet nurse holding her leg, to allow the Vet to give a small section a quick shave and take a blood sample for her titre test.  Results should be back on Thursday and all being well, no booster vaccines will be required.  

She quickly forgave them and it was cuddles all round.  She then happily let the vet check her hips, shoulders and elbow joints, eyes, ears, teeth, feet and finally, weight her.  She was declared to be in excellent health with beautiful teeth, perfect weight, luscious coat, and apparently a superb example of her breed.  Wow!  Must tell Carole.  That will bring a tear to her eye! :D 

Back home and as a special treat she got two lots of the tunas for dinner :D 

And of course lots of extra cuddles.
