Brave New World

Today was the first day of life in Ontario without a mask mandate. The turnips in charge feel that living with the virus means just ignoring it, and who are we to argue with them?

Well, seemingly, we are quite numerous. Ottawacker Jr. went to school bemasked and intending to stay that way - and 21 of his 24 classmates did the same. (Of the three others, one has just had Covid, one is seemingly not of this planet, and the other eats sand from underneath the kindergarten swings during breaktime.)

At football tonight, it was the same thing. In fact, the only one not wearing a mask was the coach. I'm still on edge about the whole concept of people not being made to wear a mask in an indoor setting - the Freedumb Convoy showed there are enough idiots out there to infect a city - but as long as people are still wearing masks, I suppose it is alright. 

Other than that, I actually slept last night.
