Cakes cakes cakes

Off to old London Town today, day trip with friends. Early start and a good breakfast to set me up for the day, my fave, eggs benedict!

Got the train from Langley mill into Nottingham to meet up with the gang. Quick coffee in the first class lounge and then we are St Pancras bound. Prossecco flowing nicely and nibbles too.

Into St Pancras at 11.30, then tube to Borough Market for a wander round. Weather dry, but overcast and misty (planned to go up the shard, but you couldn't see the top!)

A few purchases round Borough, plenty of cheese! Half a fruit beer and then a taxi to The Langham for cocktails, then a delicious afternoon tea. Champagne too!! Fantastic experience, very relaxed and very swish!

Back to St Pancras and then homeward bound. Lots of laughs today, a fab day out.

Train back to Langley mill, taxi and home for a cuppa with my boy.
