Rats! Rat grass..

What a nice day, much warmer and no need for the woolly hat & gloves! So we were at the allotment for a couple of hours this afternoon; I spent the time just digging out the rat grass from the bed that's going to produce a bumper spud crop we hope while S was attacking the compost bin (it was too full to squeeze any more kitchen waste in) and spreading about half a bin-load onto the beds and around the rasps.

This is our allotment neighbour and owner of the biggest hut in the place!
