Magnolia time

Went to the Botanics for half an hour at lunchtime to see the magnolia which is looking rather wonderful and had quite a crowd of admirers. It is a beauty. 

It was nice and warm in the Gardens where it was sheltered, but the air was quite cool coming back across the park, despite the sunshine and blue skies.

I’ve added another shot of the magnolia in the extras, along with a view of a bank of spring flowers.
