Conic Hill

I had a catch up with Iska in the morning then Neil and I got ready to head out to Balmaha.
I had this idea yesterday that we could climb Conic Hill.
Loads of diversions until we arrived - beautiful weather!!

The walk was steep and there were loads of steps - like stairs - not my favourite way to climb a hill but we did it!
It is only 350 m high but its basically going straight up.

It was super windy but lovely when we reached to top.
Met a German Chinese couple from Glasgow and had a blether before we descended way faster than we went up.

We went for a coffee at the Oak In - which was needed - as was the chair.

We considered going for a meal but the menu there did not appeal and we could not get a table anywhere else on the way home.

We cooked t home and were quite tired on the couch.

It was a great day though and loads of fresh air.
