Sandwick

A lovely day for a brisk walk over to Sandwick. It had to be brisk as the warmth from the sun was being overwhelmed by the chill from the wind! 

We met the same two tractors and muck spreaders several times as they came back and forth along the road, but no other traffic. Lottie jumped into the verge and sat until they had passed us each time! She’s such a lovely girl! Being on her lead makes it a very companionable walk because she’s so close by that I end up talking to her most of the time! When she’s loose, she’s always dashing about, checks in with me then dashes off again!

Saw and heard skylarks for the first time this spring. A wonderful sound.

Choir in the evening. Brahms’ German Requiem. In German. Wasn’t sure at first, but I’m really enjoying it now.
