Phone meditation

Sue is home from adventures with her family in California, and after days of rain, the sun is beaming on a blossoming world, and I have survived another migraine. So here I am, glad to be able to walk ten blocks to a sweet little park I have blipped before, aware as ever that everything is impermanent.

When I spotted the arrangement of three women and their phones in the sunshine, I wished for a moment that I had a longer lens. I decided to be grateful that my eyes can see their connected disconnectedness, their beauty, the day and the reflections. If lens length is the worst of my problems, I muttered to myself, I have no problems at all.
