V1....Rotate.....

V1 is the decision speed at which stopping is no longer possible and you are committed to fly. Rotate is the raising of the nose into climb attitude. 
Years ago The Boss had a go in a Flight Simulator.. The Bossess had to leave the cabin.....
Last night we had a spectacular lightning storm in Wellington and serious flooding in the North but it was a great day here afterwards at 22 F
