Fishy Business

Nipped down for my Spring haircut this morning, seemed a lot colder when I exited the barber’s. The fishmonger’s display always catches my eye and this time it dragged me in. What to buy though? Haddock, sea bass, salmon, trout, coly, halibut, scallops, mussels all on display but were also passed over because it’s the cod roe season, short-lived so it had to be!
Up to the allotment again in the afternoon but no desire for anything strenuous. Finished strimming the grass, raked it up, then pottered about in the sunshine, mostly around the chives where all things invasive had to be weeded out. Think I’ll extend that patch again and find some more herbs to grow in the shade of the, now huge, rosemary bush. But not this week!
