The Windmills of Your Mind

I was reading about a windmill in Brixton yesterday and realised I hadn't seen a windmill for a very long time (though actually I might have passed one on the train in Upminster so I could be telling lies!).

I thought I'd leave a visit to Brixton for another day and remembered there was a windmill on Wimbledon Common, a place I've never actually been to! I tried to walk from Richmond Park to Wimbledon Common last year on the Capital Ring Walk, but got completely lost in Richmond Park (not enough signs posts!)

The rain started to pour down again, so I had another watering! I found the windmill, but didn't walk too far into the common, but will do that another time when I get there early and it's sunny and try to walk from there to Richmond (try it the other way around, better take a Girl Guide style compass!)

Anyway, here is the windmill in a puddle!
