Hidden Haven

The stated aim for my journal is to learn to see the beauty in where I live at the moment. It has been SO good to be forced to go out looking for it each day.

This is the bridge over Plants Brook on Upper Holland Road - as you drive over it, there is not much to commend it, but by dint of observation, my husband and I discovered another very hidden little bridge from which you get this view of the Upper Holland bridge. I love the fact that most folk have no idea there is such a haven hidden in the middle of rushing traffic.

As you can see, it was raining, as it has been most of the day - though lovely sunshine this morning.
