Portrait of a Pig

I was given this ceramic pig many years ago (not sure what that says about me) and it has spent most of it's life quietly languishing on a corner shelf. It is little more than an inch long and for the most part it has remained unnoticed. I thought today it needed to be seen. I spent some time allowing him to pose at different angles, and eventually decided that this was his best side. As the shelf he was photographed on was a bit plain, I changed the colour a bit and added a texture layer. The end result reminded me a bit of an acient wall tile of fresco. A fitting tribute to a tiny pig!
