Snakes head Fritillary

This clump of Fritillaries were looking lovely this morning by the pond.
My sister (in pink), brother and his partner, and I, took Mum out for tea at Highdown gardens, Worthing, this afternoon (An early Mothers Day get to together) So I have recorded it in extras.
To the eagle-eyed of you, the cake was piled up on the plate to keep it out of the way while we ate our scones, which incidentally were delicious with strawberry jam and clotted cream!
