Spring is in the Air

Spring is in the air, the moorhen is busy sorting out her summer residence. She does not have to start from scratch as last year's nest is still in fairly good condition despite some attention from the ducks. I think this may be the third year she has used this nest, might even be more.

Today was the first time this year the weather has actually felt warm. The cold wind seems to have dropped and there is definitely warmth in the sunshine.
