As high as a Kite
Here we go, our new garden visitors. Well not quite our garden, they are building a nest just across the river.
I learned an interesting lesson this morning, a fixed 400mm lens is a little bit unwieldy for fast moving bird shots! I took this with my much lighter 200 later on. The other lesson is that kites do a lot more darting about in the morning, the afternoon is reserved for soaring about in a lazy way. Now I know that I'll be able to use the bigger lens a bit more effectively.
