A Special Day At Blipfoto

One day out of every year, we pay tribute to the founder of Blipfoto, Joe Tree, by posting our photos of trees---taken on that day, of course!  Today is that day.  It is also the six year anniversary of Wild Wednesday.  I found a Mockingbird singing his heart out, but he was sitting in a scraggly dying tree that would have sufficed for any day, but today.  He absolutely refused my request that he move to one of my favorite trees, the Redbud tree, that was just a little way down the trail from where he was and so he has missed his chance for 15 minutes of global fame on Blip for Wild Wednesday.  Maybe you can count the bees on the Redbud tree for Wild Wednesday, even though you can't see them from here.....Thanks to Cailleach for hosting
