Purple velvet

I remember loving these flowers and their texture from when I was very young.  They haven't lost their fascination!  These were at the Garden Centre this afternoon.  They have a hobby craft place there and I needed some cotton - of course I acquired a few other little delights too!

I have finished my second dress and am reasonably pleased with it.  I managed to use the new overlocker too!  Now I move onto the next project and try to get more right this time!  Maybe doing things in the right order to get a better finish would be a good target.
