Photocall

There was a bit of a photocall down on the beach for the formal handing over of a cheque for money raised so far by the Porty Robot Maker for the Dnipro Kids charity (see extra). The Robot Maker, who leaves their handmade wooden robots all over the local area for people to find and keep, has been making special Ukraine robots that people can by through a local shop to raise funds for Ukraine. The Robot Maker has retained their anonymity and the money is going to the Dnipro Kids charity set up by Hibs supporters after their team played a game in Ukraine in 2005. I couldn't be bothered with the kids' set-up shots (which I know are the ones most likely to make the papers) or fighting for space with the other photographers - one in particular who seemed determined to block everyone else out from getting any pictures - so just did my own thing capturing the event as a whole, including the photographers taking the pictures and then a couple of individual adult portraits afterwards which are more my sort of thing. I really liked this one of two kids posing for a shot for the other photographers.
