Take a walk on the wild side

Today after some spring cleaning I went for a walk across the fields where I live. I watched a blue tit busy feeding young. It kept disappearing into a hole in an old oak tree. Red dead nettles are such an amazing plant I think. I love the redness of the top leaves against the flowers and the green leaves at the bottom of the plant. This clump of wood anemone was tucked away under a hedge.
