Common Crane - 41

The trip to Gloucester to watch Chester involved an overnight stay so we could go down to WWT Slimbridge. We had a terrific day which included a few new birds for the year including spoonbill, garganey, bar-headed goose (although it looked like a bit of a hybrid), barnacle goose (see the extra (42)) and this common crane. There were actually several of them around and we were lucky to see them close.
