I spent a smashing afternoon visiting the tea rooms at the local garden centre with a friend. T and I enjoyed a good old chin wag not to mention the lovely home made lemon drizzle cake.
After a browse around the garden centre we spent some time photographing the local bird population which it seemed was in abundance. Despite a fast shutter speed, most birds didn't stop long enough for me to get a good shot or a twig or a branch had got in the way, but they were all there - chaffinches, blue tits, greenfinches, collared doves etc etc. At the end of it, this little fellow was kind enough to remain in one place long enough for me to secure a half decent capture.
