The accidental finding

I haven't got a flagpole so I bought a badge

I went to Gloucester on a glorious day, but spent most of it indoors, in a cold venue, attending a course on understanding trauma. At least there was a flower-filled garden, with picnic benches, so I got outside during every break. I also forgot to bring my phone, though I did remember the packed lunch. Sod' s law that I should forget my phone, when I go to a place I haven't been for ages, on a blue-sky day. The city is undertaking some renovations and the streets where I tried to walk, after the course, were being demolished or developed, so I contented myself with a walk around a couple of charity shops and Wilko (the Gloucester store is full, as opposed to the virtually-empty Stroud store) before catching the bus back to Stroud. All in all, four bus journeys and two long walks, nearly 10,000 steps. And an awful lot of sitting down (for me).

When I got home, I found my pin badges had arrived. And then I forgot to snap anything at all until after dark, because I've been happily binge watching the second series of Trying on Apple TV+. Hence, unlike the colourful Ukraine flags I saw flying over different parts of Gloucestershire, you see this shadowy pin badge.

I'm going to Gloucester again in a couple of weeks. Will remember my phone next time.
