It represents quite an achievement to me :-)

The growing season is so delayed this year, so it feels good to get this patch dug over and some broad-beans planted today. The allotment is such a good place to be and because it's on the top of a hill it feels so open and mind freeing. To think I hardly visited last year with everything that was going on. I did plant some potatoes very late and then the rain came and most of them didn't get dug up. So I've covered that patch of ground with black weed suppressant until I can get round to it. In the background are the beds with strawberries and asparagus - we had loads of strawberries last year but this year we're hoping for asparagus too. Yummy.
