Horses

This morning we travelled to have a look at our new baby, as yet unnamed yearling trotter. He obliged by completing 10 laps of the training track. He is all rugged up and ready to go out in his paddock.
We then went to Rangiora to see our 4yo pacer Westie (racing name Anything Goes) return to the trials at Rangiora. He has not raced since winning his only start on December 4th. He is over his leg injury and trialled really well running up behind the leaders to finish close up in 3rd place. He should be back at the races soon.
