Northern Flicker

This male Yellow-shafted Northern Flicker (Colaptes autatus) showed up at the feeder today. This is the first time I have ever seen this large woodpecker, and I managed to get this one image through the window before he flew away. It was fun to see a new species, and I hope he visits again.
