Bonsai

My grand daughter planted this horse chestnut when she was 5 years old. In fact all our children did at the same age. Two were left behind when we moved here from Essex and sadly we had to cut matts one down a few years ago as it was diseased. This one survived for many years in a pit and last year we reported it into a bonsai dish where it is still thriving. Kelly is 28 years old this year .
Worked at the cafe today and it was not too tiring. Lovely to be back.
Afternoon spent in the garden pottering and I planted out the runner beans. Hoping it is not too early.
