The school run...2 years on

This morning we did our usual school run with Violet in wonderful warm sunshine.  There are signs of Spring, although many of the forest trees have yet to get their new season leaves.
Today marks the second anniversary of the first pandemic lockdown.  Follow my link to see what my thoughts were on that day.  I recall that I thought that it would all last only 12 weeks.  How wrong I was!
Today also marks 2 years since Daughter #1's partner lost his grandmother, his Nan, to Covid, having gone into hospital for something completely different and caught it there.
