Cherry Bakewell Cake

After a trip to the surgery for my husband’s routine blood tests we went into Bishop’s Stortford where today’s picture of my husband with his Cherry Bakewell cake was taken. I had the gluten-free chocolate mint cake.

Once again the trains were delayed for our homeward journey and there were some cancellations; the problem today was in the Tottenham Hale area; eventually our train arrived and was only ten minutes late.

Once home we sat in the garden for a while with our coffee.

Noon Today – Again it was seventeen degrees Celsius.
