All aboard

After a few stressful days of “ will we , won’t we?” we made it! I didn’t dare to hope until we had cleared the obligatory Covid test at Southampton and were allowed to board. I did feel sorry for those who were asked to move to one side with a positive result. I’ve no idea what happens then.. retest? Sent home?

Anyway so far it is all marvellous. The boat is sumptuous, the food so far delicious ( a vast array of dishes at lunch with service stations ) and everyone very smiley. Even my slightly curmudgeonly partner ( about cruising) has said he’s impressed and mellowing.
The boat looks magnificent in the sunshine, the pool decks were popular, although I haven’t ventured in yet!

We’ve explored everything and everywhere, so tried to get our bearings of the accessible decks , sussed out restaurants and bars and coffee spots, found the sports deck, the theatre and auditorium, & done our lifeboat check -in so ready to sail!
Norway here we come :)
