Perspective

I was a little annoyed I couldn't take the quick journey home from work as there had been a crash on the M6.
I took the long, slower, scenic route home, through the lanes I know so well from cycling.

I was rewarded with nice light as the sun set for the evening and very little traffic on the small roads.

I was grateful to get home with the extra 30 minutes added and most importantly to hear the truck driver who was trapped for 3 hours in his wreckage is ok and didn't suffer any serious injuries.

Getting closer to that weekend.
