That's what I call service

At 1.30 this afternoon  . . . 
. . . we finally realised that we had to get a new dishwasher. It was very old had done good service for years and years, but was obviously not efficient, had not been working very well at all and had sprung a leak. I did a bit of research on the Which? website and then we rang Gary.

Gary Etheridge is the Carlisle based family-owned independent domestic appliance company with whom we have been dealing for many, many years. Every appliance we have has come from them. 

A very useful  telephone discussion with Gary and half an hour later we had chosen a machine, paid for it and arranged for it to be delivered.

That was to be tomorrow, but soon after he rang back to say his guys were just setting out for Penrith and could come along today. They arrived and you could not have asked for better or more cheery service. They took away the old machine and brought in and connected the new one. They laughed and joked and offered friendly advice about using the machine efficiently - a joy to have in the house actually. They sorted out some of the settings for me and did a test run to make sure all the connections were working properly.
