No longer winter, for now

Had it not been for Rhuari dog I probably wouldn’t have seen the kingfishers early this morning. Three of them including one that perched for several minutes just below the second nest. He walks at around 24 minutes per mile which is lot faster than Islay. We went out again in the afternoon for a longer stroll  around Pollok and Maxwell Parks and were rewarded with two dippers, along with usual assorted ducks. Everything is becoming more colourful and for the first time this year I walked without a jacket.
