Sunday School

This building was built by the owner of the Macclesfield silk mill in 1813. It was the Sunday school for the mill workers. He built it on higher ground from the mill so they could see it from there. They worked all week and then on Sunday, their only day off, they had to attend Sunday school. Not much work/life balance for them!
