Life of a bubble maker

Waterfall

Bit of an earlier start today as we had booked a tour of the volcano and botanical gardens. We had a great driver called Rosewood who dropped us at the volcano. Tour guide was good, explained that the place where we are staying is what’s left of the volcano when the top exploded. Lots of sulphur in the air and bubbling mud. From there we went to the farm that is owned by the hotel and grows a lot of the veg and herbs for the hotel. Good walk around with one of the staff. Next stop was a whistle stop tour of the botanical gardens as the guide wanted to get back to the start to get her next group as they rely on tips. At the back of the gardens is this waterfall fed from the volcano, hence the different colours on the wall from the mineral deposits. We talked to the driver and he agreed to take us to the local waterfall you can go under as the cost from the hotel to do it was ridiculous. Cold water but great fun to do. Back in time for lunch and a couple of glasses of wine. Bit of a lie down after that and then went on a SUP for the first time. Fell in a few times to start with until I got used to the motion of the small waves and getting my balance. Had to wait ages to get a table for dinner in the small restaurant so we played a game of Jaipur. Nice meal but they had run out of sushi and crème brulee as we were so late which was a shame.
