High View ..

... from our friends' balcony on the top floor of our building.  We had tea and shared a lovely pear tart with them this afternoon.  The day was relatively warm, with hardly a breeze, but as 6 pm approached we felt it wiser to move inside. And not long after that, inevitably, we took the two flights down to our apartment.  It was good to see them.
