Morning Fog Rolling In

After tripping over a rock and tearing a shoulder tendon (and subsequent surgery), I had to trade my cross-country morning run in the Redwoods for circling an asphalt track up on campus.  But I can't complain, this track has got to have one of the most beautiful views ever!  Each lap around the track I watched the fog creep up from the Bay, slowly enveloping the City on the Hill (UCSC).  The hill peeking above the fog on the right is Loma Prieta, the epicenter of the 7.0 earthquake of the same name in 1989.
