Blue

I've been feeling a bit ambivalent about blipping lately. I've taken pictures, but they didn't seem good enough. And I didn't have anything interesting to say. A journal has to either be good or interesting, I think. Hoping its just a - excuse the pun - blip. Working on feeling more positive in general.

These are beads in a bracelet made by a Masai. The Masai are one of the nearly 200 tribes in Tanzania. They come from round Kilimanjaro, but the young men especially travel widely. They are sought after as watchmen, being fierce, brave and honest, but they are inclined to go walkabout without warning.
