 a hellish almost 24 hours in a&e .   
I was not aware at the time but I had developed sepsis.     The medics were fantastic and worked non stop to get me heading in the right direction.  By evening I was cleaned up, put on to a ward in a lovely cosy bed.  Again the night staff were truly amazing.
