Beach Huts, Boat & Beachcombers

Thoroughly nice day again today.  Went to Thorpe Bay beach for Ginny walk and it was lovely and quiet there.  Was lining up a Blip shot - similar to this one but I was walking along on the other side of the road - trying for an alignment of boat in the Estuary, dinghies propped against the railings, walkers and cyclists - nothing exotic but I quite liked the misty, lumbering tankers in the background and various items coming in and out of the shot.   Kept missing a few alignments - cars coming in to shot,  (didn't want them) not catching pedestrians silhouetted in the gap between the dinghies - all the usual trials and tribulations.  Then spotted a walking couple, he with blue jacket, she with yellow (by design or accident?) - put camera to eye ready for them to appear and press shutter but they seemed to be taking longer than I imagined.  Risked lowering camera to see where they were just in time to see that at that very moment they decided that for today this was as far as they were going as they turned on their heels and walked back in the direction they had come!  I crossed the road and went for something much simpler....liked the blue tones in this.
