For a while I've had to waggle the depth lever a few times to get the blades moving properly, but today it reached the point of being jammed almost solid. As I poked the plaque of clippings free I wondered, not for the first time, what a tall jar would look like with a set of clippings from each year of life layered on would look like, colour-gradient-wise.
