Bridge Cottage
Hectic day yesterday so no blip, boo hoo.
Today we still had more jobs to do but also needed to go over to Elmley Castle church to put flowers on Jayne's mom's grave for Mother's Day as Jayne is working both Saturday and Sunday so couldn't do it then.
Elmley Castle is one of many villages dotted around the bottom of Bredon Hill. It's a quintessential English village and very pretty with it's thatched cottages, flowers in abundance in the well kept gardens, and also a stream runs through the village.
Bridge Cottage is alongside the stream which flows in front of it and which is crossed to access the property, hence it's name I suppose.
Afterwards to took a very light lunch in the village pub, The Queen Elizabeth Inn, washed down with Wye Valley bitter for me and a glass of rose for Jayne. Quite busy in there today and a few walkers calling in too. All nice to see.
Have a lovely weekend everyone x
