Should have bought some . . .

Another lovely morning.  Felt very pleasant cycling to various locations for shopping.  Bought 3 verbena bonariensis.  They are good for attracting insects in the sumner and are tall and sculptural. 
After lunch planted the verbena near  yesterday's planted perovskia.  Hoping for a bank of different purples and insect life.  Trimmed some dead wood from the buddleia.  Then treated myself to catching some vitamin D.
Took hound for a late afternoon walk. Encountered my neighbour, Fay who has been suffering from long covid from the first wave.  Even walking up the street to the free library taxes her breathing and as an asthmatic her speech seemed strained. 
Another week gone.
