London!

The sleeper train was great fun, very narrow for manoeuvring with bags and bodies but once we got into bed the gentle movement and noise were quite pleasant and we slept well. We got into Euston at 7am and navigated our way across to Kingston on the tube and train, all very exciting for S although she fell asleep. We dropped our bags off at the hotel then went to find some breakfast, ending up in Bills along the riverside, beautiful. We did a bit of shopping, very exciting to S who is developing a very strong sense of self and discovering what she does and doesn’t like. We got the bus to Kew as the weather was so sunny and warm, the last time we went S was a baby so it was great to be able to take her back. The magnolias and cherry blossoms were spectacular and S loved the new children’s garden. This evening we went to a pre wedding party to meet everyone, very much time for bed now and feeling excited for tomorrow.
